Additionally, I offer custom commercial designs and can make minor adjustments to pre-made plans to better fit your specific requirements.

At PLANS A LA CART, I operate as a virtual design company, offering a more efficient and time-saving approach that reduces the need for frequent in-person meetings. Here’s how it works:

Online Project Form: Clients fill out a detailed form online, providing all the necessary information for the project.
Initial Consultation: I conduct a quick 15-minute virtual call with the client to discuss project goals and answer any questions they may have.
Initial Assessment: I assess the form and provide a site and building analysis for a small fee. If the client decides to proceed, this fee is credited towards a larger contract. If not, they will still receive valuable information about their site, municipality, and specific conditions for developing the property. This information will be useful if they choose to move forward at a later time or with another designer.
Design and Documentation: For those moving forward, I create detailed construction documents for the building.
Architect and Engineer Connections: If needed, I connect clients with affordable architects who can redline, sign, and seal my plans for an additional fee. Additionally, I can connect clients with civil, structural, foundation, and MEP engineers if required.
Permitting Assistance: With over ten years of experience obtaining building permits, I lead the project through the jurisdiction’s permitting process. I consult with the city, architect, and engineers to ensure building permit approval, answer all building design questions from the city, and update the plans as necessary.

This streamlined, virtual approach saves time and makes the entire design and permitting process more efficient and hassle-free for my clients.
